to start I have to say I love the aesthetics. the clam chowder bowel was delish. the chef even came out and let me try some dishes he was workshopping. fantastic service. I will definitely come again
The staff and food were amazing. Seafood was fresh. We enjoyed the atmosphere and music on the back deck. It was cold outside but we were very cozy. Very nice evening out! Special thanks to Brent, the owner for checking on us to make sure everything was perfect.
We ate at Wharf Seafood in Medford on a fishing trip. My friend Barry and I had been skunked that day on the Rogue and wanted to get some "Revenge" with a seafood dinner. I ordered the cioppino and was very pleased with my choice. It was served with a generous portion of bread and was spiced perfectly. There was a lot of fish, clams and mussels in the stew/soup with plenty for the bread to mop up. I gave it two thumbs up. I did not order any dessert as the generous portion of cioppino that I was served more than filled me. We left satisfied, but alas, the next day on the Rogue River proved equally unrewarding. Oh well, at least we discovered a fine restaurant in Medford. Reasonable prices and good food.
I've ordered delivery from The Wharf a number of times and it's always pretty good, but this is the first time I've gone there to eat and it was AWESOME. They have a lovely patio (yay for COVID-safer dining!) and the food was excellent. The clam chowder was delicious, the fried cod is the best I've ever had, and the deep fried cookie for dessert was mind blowing. Yum yum yum! This place isn't the fanciest, but it's charming in it's own right. The staff are friendly and the food is excellent!
Greatest: Deep Fried Chocolate chip cookies w/ ice cream. (Gooey on the inside amazingness). Great: Atmosphere Cleanliness Coconut Prawn appetizer (dipping sauce sweet/spicy yummyness). Snow crab platter (fries crispy / crab moist and sweet). Clam Chowder (very rich and creamy). Not Great: Special of the day Blackened Sword Fish w/ lemon zest sauce.
